Ques 1 __  Where did Sanku work ?

हिन्दी अनुवाद __  संकू कहाँ काम करता था ? 

Ans ____  Sanku worked in a factory as a low-paid labourer .

हिन्दी अनुवाद __ संकू किसी कारखाने में छोटी तनख्वाह पर  काम करता था।  

Ques 2 __  What were Sanku's problems and how did he plan to solve them ?

हिन्दी अनुवाद __ संकू की क्या समस्याएँ थीं और उसने उन्हें हल करने के लिए क्या योजना बनाई ?

Ans ____ The problems of Sanku were his debt, poverty and hid wife's pregnancy . He planned to solve them by stealing the gold watch of his engineer.

हिंदी अनुवाद __ संकू के कर्ज, गरीबी और उसकी पत्नी का गर्भ उसकी समस्या थे।  इनसे निपटने के लिए उसने अपने इंजीनियर की सोने की घड़ी चुराने की योजना बनाई।

हिन्दी अनुवाद __ संकू ने सोने की घड़ी चुराने के लिए दिन का कौन -सा समय सबसे उपयुक्त समझा और क्यों ? 

Ans ___Sanku thought that the lunch-time was the most suitable for stealing the gold watch. He thought so because at that time the engineer and the worker used to go out for lunch and rest.

हिन्दी अनुवाद __ संकु ने सोंचा की सोने की घडी चुराने के लिए दोपहर के भोजन वाले समय एंव आराम के लिए बाहर निकल जाते थे।

हिन्दी अनुवाद __ यह घडी उस कारखाने के अंग्रेज इंजीनियर की थी जिसमे संकू काम करता था।

Ans _____  Sanku's cowardice , hesitation and fear of being caught stopped him from stealing the watch in the beginning .

हिन्दी अनुवाद __ सकू की कायरता , हिचक और पकडे जाने के भय ने उसे शुरू में घड़ी चुराने से रोक दिया।  

Ques 6 ___   Why could he no longer postpone the act of stealing ?

Ans ____  Sanku could no longer postpone the act of stealing because he was in an urgent need of money to pay off his debts, for his children's food and ointment and for his pregnancy wife.

हिन्दी अनुवाद __ चोरी के काम को संकु और अधिक  नहीं टाल सका क्योंकि अपने कर्ज चुकाने के लिए , अपने बच्चो के भोजन व दवा के लिए , और अपने गर्भवती पत्नी के लिए उसे पैसों की सख्त जरूरत थी।

हिन्दी अनुवाद __  संकू ने घड़ी क्यों चुराई ? 

Ans __  Sanku was too poor to pay off his debts .He had no money for his suffering and hungry children, and for his pregnant wife. He therefor decided to steal the gold watch to meet these demands.

हिन्दी अनुवाद __ संकू  इतना गरीब था की अपना कर्ज नहीं चूका पा रहा था।  उसके पास अपने बीमार और भूखे बच्ची के लिए और अपनी गर्भवती पत्नी तक के लिए पैसा नहीं था।  इसलिए उसने इन जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए उसने  सोने की घड़ी को चुराने का फैसला किया था।  

Ques 8__ Why did Sanku curse himself ?

हिन्दी अनुवाद __  संकू ने अपने आप को कोसा ?

Ans ___ Sanku was very poor. His wife was pregnant. He had no money for the coming child . The new child would be an extra burden on him. So he cursed himself .

हिन्दी अनुवाद __संकू बहुत गरीब था।  उसकी पत्नी गर्भवती थी।  जन्म लेने वाले बच्चों के लिए उसके पास धन नहीं था।  नया बच्चा उसके ऊपर एक अतिरिक्त बोझ बनेगा।  इसलिए उसने अपने आप को कोसा।  

Ques 9___  What were Sanku's feeling before stealing the watch ?

हिन्दी अनुवाद __  घड़ी चुराने से पहले संकू की क्या भावनाएँ थीं ?

Ans ____   Before stealing the watch Sanku felt a mental conflict in his mind. His heart was beating very fast. He had a mixed feeling whether to steal or not to steal due to fear. He was trembling with fear.

हिन्दी अनुवाद __   घड़ी चुराने से पहले संकू ने अपने मस्तिष्क में एक दिमागी संघर्ष महसूस किया। उसका दिल बहुत जोर - जोर से धड़क रहा था। डर के उसके मन में दोनों भावनाएँ उठ रही थी कि चुराये या ना चराये।  संकू इसी डर से काँप रहा था। 

Ques 10 __ What thought troubled him after committing the theft ?

हिन्दी अनुवाद ___ चोरी करने के बाद किन विचारों ने संकू को परेशान किया था ?

Ans ____   After committing the theft he thought that someone had seen him stealing and he would be caught , insulted and dismissed from his job. These were the thoughts that troubled him .

हिन्दी अनुवाद __   चोरी कर लेने के उसने सोचा की उसने किसी ने चोरी करते हुए देख लिया है , और संकू पकड़ा जायेगा , और संकू अपमानित होगा तथा नौकरी से निकल दिया जाये गा।  ये ही वे विचार थे जो उसे परेशान कर रहे थे
